MEP work happens at height, in confined spaces and around live electrical systems. On UAE projects, where programmes are fast and many trades work side by side, safety and quality have to be built into every task – not added at the end.
Safety starts before work starts
Every activity should begin with a clear understanding of the risks and the controls in place. That means risk assessments, method statements and a short briefing for the crew before they pick up a tool.
- Mandatory PPE for every worker, checked daily.
- Risk assessments for each activity and work area.
- Daily Tool Box Talks covering the day’s tasks and hazards.
- Permits for hot work, work at height and electrical isolation.

Quality control that consultants trust
Quality on MEP works means installing exactly to the approved drawings and specifications, and being able to prove it. Consultants look for neat, labelled, supported and tested installations with records to match.
Drawing compliance
Crews work from the latest approved drawings and raise queries before deviating. Changes are recorded so as-built information is accurate.
Inspection readiness
Before offering an area for inspection, our chargehands check supports, fixings, labelling and cleanliness so the first inspection is the last one.
Testing and documentation
Pressure tests, insulation resistance tests and other checks are carried out and recorded, ready for handover packs.
A safe site and a quality installation come from the same habit: doing each step properly, every time.
Compliant employment supports safe work
Safety also depends on how people are employed. Direct employment with valid visas, medical insurance and WPS-compliant payroll means stable, trained teams who know the rules and follow them.
How we work
At Sukoon Al Fajr, every crew is chargehand-supervised, briefed daily and equipped with standard tools, testing instruments and safety equipment, in line with project-specific Main Contractor requirements.
